PROJECT SIGNIFICANCE: The new five-story Hampton Street Apartments complex is rising in the Tigard Triangle 鈥� a city-designated urban renewal zone intended to encourage development of housing.

This development will consist of 55 new housing units in five stories over a ground floor of commercial space. Amenities will include a club room on the fifth floor and an outdoor terrace. All 64 parking spaces, including some for electric vehicles, will be in a parking structure located on two split levels entered from both Hampton Street and 70th Avenue.

The team is aiming to deliver a net-zero-energy project. Rooftop solar panels will produce 90 kilowatts and a high-efficiency, centralized hot water system will be installed. The exterior will feature an exposed concrete base with high-density fiber cement panels and large, energy-efficient, European-style windows.
