What does Twin Cooling Mean?

Twin Cooling:听One compressor connects to two separate evaporator systems. One closed system for cooling the refrigerator, and another closed system for cooling the freezer.

1. 听To maintain Ideal humidity (think fresh food): The ideal humidity level for your refrigerator is 70%, and you want as little humidity in the freezer as possible. 2. To prevent odor transfer: In a traditional single cooling system, air travels between the refrigerator and the freezer section, and back again. Twin cooling lets the compressor cool only the section that needs cooling. If you rarely open the freezer, but open the refrigerator often, then the freezer doesn’t need to be cooled as often to maintain the proper temperature.
